NATHAN ROSS - HOBBIES old time ship plan.

First and foremost based on a 19th century whaler this ship was made for the 1953 Movie "All the brothers were valiant"
Starring Robert Taylor(not me ) Stewart Grainger and Anne Blyth.

The ship Victrix was built for the 1950 movie "running of the tide" which was cancelled before completion. It was converted to a whaling ship and renamed the NATHAN ROSS for the aforementioned movie.
