I didn’t do a blog here. I wanted to give a couple of photos of the finished build.

I started back in July after I finished my tugboat and finished it today, December 28.

As a novice, this has been a challenging build for me and a good learning experience. However, there were many missing parts, and while Model Shipways supported the disappeared wood, many other items were missing. I just went to my local hobby shop and some craft store to find the missing items.

I am in the process of building this kit and was wondering if you remember if you painted the nail heads, eyebolts and rings black? I usually do that on my kits but not sure I want to paint around 500 nail heads. Much thanks!

Used brass black... Three times... sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't..
