Navy Academy Museum, Annapolis, MD - March 2023

Highly interesting is the idea with the Bonhomme Richard model
One side of the model is representing the original french indiaman Duc Du Duras and the other side the armament (inclusive the changed gunports) of the Bonhomme Richard after her refit....

and also the "pull apart" model of the 70-gunner - like my HMS Granado -> now I know, how to call this way of presentation

Do you have maybe some more photos of this model?

I am afraid those were all the pictures I took of those models (those are pretty much all the pictures I took, maybe minus 2 or 3 that were out of focus)

Hi @Uwek let me know which models you are interested in, I will visit the museum in two weeks :)

@Steven B is the Culver Sovereign of the Seas still on display. I am highly interested in this model and hope it is still on display.

Yes it is displayed, but in a very poorly lit corner.

Splendid photography. Its not easy photographing models in glass cases, I found out. Your results are excellent.

Thank you Mike for your remark and likes.

When you have all the museum to yourself it is easy to move around to find the better angle for less glass reflection
Steven B ! Thanks again for the magnificent
photos ! Are there any more photos of this model ?
