Perhaps you could manufacture your own ship mount and attach it to the wall with anchors. Something like this perhaps?
Crude example, but you get the idea. Here's a thought, what if the supports were tentacles?

Gentlemen Good afternoon! I really liked what DARIVS ARCHITECTVS offered you. I believe that if you use the roots of a bush of a suitable size, it will turn out that a huge monster has entwined its tentacles around the ship and is pulling it to the bottom.... This is just my fantasy, not necessary for execution..

If you're thinking of a shelf, I would recommend brackets with a nautical look reminiscent of hanging knees. The first example is displaying decoy ducks, but shows the idea. The second drawing shows a more ornate version. Fair winds!
