A while back I purchased a set of plans for the HMS Prince. I was told by the store in London that sold them that it was for plank-on-frame construction. I was very excited, as I have wanted to build her for quite some time. I was also told that an instruction booklet came with the plans, in Italian of course (Amati). When I received my package I thought that it felt rather thin. When I opened it I found that the plans were for POB construction and there was no instruction booklet. I was not only sorely disappointed, but a bit peeved as well. After some consideration I decided I would build her POB sometime in the future. I’m ready to begin but I still have the issue of no instruction booklet. It isn’t absolutely necessary, but it would certainly come in handy. If any of you fine people could help me find a booklet, I would be more than grateful.
PEACE AND LOVE TO YOU ALL,
Wes

Is this the old kit that they stopped making about 50 years ago that came in a wooden box? Even though Amati no longer produces this kit they may still have the instructions in Italian with English translations. There was a build log here on the old kit about 6 years ago that may be helpful as well.

Way back when, POB marketers used to claim that an advantage to this means of construction allowed models to be built just like the real thing! This probably added to the POF/POB confusion.

Since all that you have are plans you will in effect be scratch building her. IMHO, this is an advantage. You can work out your own techniques.
