Hello everyone.
You can call me Pioneer, or you can call me Dave, the choice is yours.
To be honest I’m not much of a forum bloke so don’t expect to hear from me on a constant basis, just every now and then when I can give some help or advice, or need some myself.

Hello Dave and welcome aboard. Are you working on something right now?

Bill
Hi Bill
Yes I’m working on HMS Victory - a 1:98 scale Corel model - this is only my 3rd build - my first was a 1949 Chris Craft racing runabout, 2nd was KD Perkasa MTB, and so now onto Victory, she was bought 2nd hand and was partly built (ribs, keel, deck and deck planking in place) unfortunately due to the way she had been stored - damp conditions etc - I had to bin the above and start again using new clean timber and the plans to get me back to a point where I had a good foundation from which to carry on with the build.
I’m sure as time goes on I’ll be looking for members advice and instruction, as Victory like any good model is heavy on detail, and needs to look the part.
Thank you for your interest Bill, well speak again soon.
Dave (Pioneer).

Hello Dave, I hope you change your mind about not posting all that often. The members here are a fun group, and there's lot to contribute as well as learn here. Keep posting you Corel Victory progress photos. I like Corel models myself, because they are a bit smaller than average and have excellent quality wood, even though their detail is limited.

Well thanks guys and thank you for your warm welcome, I’ll take you up on your offer of more posts.
It’s 20:18hrs over here so I’ll put more photos up tomorrow if that’s ok.
Speak again soon.
