Glad to have found this group. I've been following facebook ship building site. Received a new model for Christmas. I have a full woodshop and a lot of tools for building. I am a retired electrical engineer and used to maintain scanning electron microscopes. I'm sure to be asking for advice. Thanks for adding me. I did make a McKensie drift boat from scratch with carved oars for fun. Looking forward to using and visiting this site.

You might try doing a search for your ship to see what other build logs or comments have been posted.

I believe several others have built this kit and review of build logs may give guidance and help when needed.

Please start a build log of your project, this allows us to follow along, and if you need assistance you can post photos and ask for help and the great members will normally try to respond with an answer for you.
