I'm Steve from New Jersey and I'm just getting started on wooden model building. As a kid I built lots of plastic boats and planes from the Revel line and now that I'm retired I wanted to give this a shot. I've started a Dikar, Arlett Ref. 251 that I got at a yard sale. I'm thinking that I could have chosen a better model to start with but I'm sticking with it. I hope to get a better understanding of the modeler's process and how things are done. I've been through a few forums and it seems that there are a lot of talented builders here. I'm looking forward to seeing and learning.
