Hello everyone! I am completely new to model ship building. I have wanted to enter this hobby for quite a while but never prioritized it until now. I am attempting my first build with a gifted Constructo Bluenose II 1:135. This is a solid hull model so it shouldn't be too dificult but the instructions leave something to be desired.

Welcome onboard, best forum around.

Use the search function and list kit name and see what others have done with the same kit, it may help you with questions you come upon.

I did the Phantom, solid hull as first kit, and don't think I will ever do a solid hull again.

Yeah, the solid hull was definitely not my first choice but it was free. Once complete, I plan to move to the shipwright series of boats.

I have started those for fun, and to help with basic skills, I like the small simple builds.

Please start a build log on your current work, so others can follow along and if you need help, these fine folks will always offer there help or opinions!
