Next step in building soleil royal

Hello everyone, here you have the next step in building my soleil royal. Normally there are no led lights in de officers quarters, but I do want to put lights in it. Therefore I cut out the windows, and painted the inner side black. Thes “ holes” will but covered afterwards.

Hi @Ivan63 I guess it would be great with lights inside, I’m currently building the same ship but I’m changing a bit some detailsand colour schemes from the original kit of AL

Since the Soleil Royal is on my list, I have been thinking about the same problem. I am planing to cut 3 rectangular holes and put in 3 false decks of a depth of maybe 2-3’ for a better light effect. I would rebuild the window frames directly on the cover piece.
