Hi. Any advice or recommendations on purchasing a micro butane torch to anneal metal? TIA.

One like this will work just fine. If you have a gas stove you can use that just hold the metal over the gas flame using some needle nose pliers or a hemostat.

Get yourself a Brulee torch. They run on butane, are inexpensive, and easy to use. Any brand should be okay. Try Amazo.

Blazer and Bernzomatic both make decent quality refillable butane torches. My Blazer lasted 12+ years, replaced it with the Bernzomatic maybe 6 years ago. Odds are for infrequent use most any of the refillable units will be OK. Being able to lock the flame on is very helpful.
