Novice builds Artesania Bounty 1/48

A small step forward in my build. Finally I have “squeezed some glue”. Half the frames are in place using my homemade jig. I like the quality of the AL kit, but having processed two or three steps as per the written instructions, I have already discovered THREE blatant and misleading errors. Doesn't help a novice. Given the number of years AL have been in business, I am really surprised some of these misleading directions still remain uncorrected.

A minor setback. As per instructions I glued in the first 7 frames. Glue had ample time to dry. While handling the model moving on to the next step, 3 of those frames almost fell off! Two possibilities ….
1) Not enough glue (Gorilla)
2) Despite a light sand of the joint surfaces to remove laser ash, glue did not take.

Frames now re-glued with a further cleaning of the joints and a more generous application of glue. Some of the frames have a very small amount of surface that form the joint. I hope that the amount of handling to fix in more deck beams, and carry out the fairing and planking hold no further surprises like this.
