I have a question regarding the construction of the Occre model of La Victoire, limited edition. Do you think it would be better to double the frames on each side to improve the model's authenticity? Or does that seem ridiculous to you?

Thank you in advance for your feedback!

Dear Oxor,

The choice is up to you what you like the most.

The framing as done in the kit doesn't have anything to do with the real framing in a ship which is much more complicated.

This is actually also the same for a lot of navy board models which have a simplified framing and is not build like in reality.

If you wpuld make the framing more authentic you also can't look inside anymore. It is all a matter of choice.

Hello Maarten,

Thank you very much for your kind reply, which has been most enlightening, as well as for sharing your current and future projects. I am truly impressed by the diversity and richness of your builds. These projects demonstrate a genuine mastery of naval modeling.

It is fascinating to see that you focus on traditional construction techniques, particularly those of 17th-century English methods. This adds a historical depth to your work, which must be especially rewarding.

I wish you the best of luck with your future projects, and I will be sure to follow your progress with great interest.

Thank you again, and best regards,
Michel

this kit focus is mostly what any other manufacture has produced , and many modeller dreamed of doing , which is the inside of the ship combine with the figurines and the death of nelson scene , this kits is not another reproduction of the ship she is completing the whole things , you put cadelrcraft vic for the exterior and this one for the interior you got a complete inside out of the vic herslef

Hello Maddog Harry,

Thank you very much for your comment! I understand your point of view, and I sincerely appreciate you highlighting the fact that this kit focuses on elements often overlooked by other manufacturers, such as the interiors of ships, combined with the scene of Nelson's death. I also like the idea of pairing this kit with the Cadelcraft Vic, as it allows for a complete modeling experience. Indeed, it brings to life a historical scene in a way that goes beyond mere reproduction, offering us a true narrative.
