Just finished the OcCre FRAM. Fun build. Compact ship model with a lot going on. I have taken some liberties with the construction and the completed model represents my interpretation of the vessel. I am fortunate enough to have been to Oslo and actually seen the ship at the Fram Museum. Great museum that showcases an extensive history of Polar Exploration. Several floors of exhibits and the ship itself. The ship is a little rougher when seen in person than what OcCre represents. I tried to get that museum feel in my build. I bought the model when it was first introduced by OcCre and have now just completed it. As with all my builds there are periods when I go stagnant because of life getting in the way. On to the next project.View attachment 558330View attachment 558330

Snap! I finished mine about two hours ago When I have made a better stand for it I will post a token picture. I shall not try and compete with the comprehensive and excellent set of pictures you have posted.

Hey…no competition here. Please post a comprehensive set of pictures of your complete build. All the various builds are very helpful to many. I know I like to look at pictures of different interpretations. They give me inspiration.

Nice pictures, @MisterCA. And a lot of them, however - and you probably are not aware of this - you uploaded them twice.

Exactly 30 years ago I also walked the decks of the real life Fram in Oslo. An extraordinary experience. Kon-Tiki and Gjoa were there as well.

Thanks Mike. I’m aware of the duplicates but not knowledgeable enough to correct the situation. Just contacted Donnie for help.

Very nice model! It is one that I may consider in the future. I really like these models that have some very interesting history behind them. It is hard to believe that they braved the Arctic and Antarctic oceans in such a small ship. I had hoped to go and visit the Fram museum in Oslo when I was there, but time didn't allow, such a pity.
