Hi to everyone, George here from NE UK, ex Merchant seaman, with my first build Occre Polaris. Started with Meccano set as a child in the 1950s and have always had a hobby. Airfix, bolsa wood gliders etc. The past few years music, airbrush art, making cigarbox guitars, Rokr cookoo clock and toy factory, wich I really enjoyed. Now a voyage into building model wooden boats, Polaris.

Welcome aboard, George! Great to have you here on SOS. With your background in all those hobbies, I’m sure you’ll enjoy your voyage into wooden ship modeling. The Polaris is a great place to start.
