Started this build (my first) in Feburary. Maybe not the most clever thing to do since I lost the sight in my left eye in Janurary. I have been on the docket (several times; canceled) for surgery that will restore it. Scheduled now for Wednesday.
What a challenge without depth perception. A large percent of time picking stuff off the floor that gets mishandled.
Found the transom and bulwarks to be unclear on the prints. Cutting the false stanchions was a trick until I worked out a method to cut them.
Biggest chanlenge now is the order to do things. Items are varnishing the decks, painting the waterways, installing the bulwaks, painting stanchions, finishing the transom. Seems any one thing done first interferes with later tasks. But, I'll ork through it.
Holding off on hull painting to reduce dings while working on other items.
Hope the pic comes through.
