Hi all,
Finally i finished the cannons which are be completely visible on the deck of La Couronne . Corel kit delivered only the carriages, cannons, wheels and a 1.5 mm thick brass wire.
Other accesories seen in the attachment i added to be as authentic as possible experiencing a real fiddly work. Now i am fully satisfied and stop thinking about which additional change or material etc to add (even during sleeping) to the cannons , before starting to build the other parts of La Couronne.
Kind Regards from Istanbul:)

Fiddly indeed. For me the cannon rigging is even more fiddly. Come to think of it, fiddly seems to be the norm throughout my builds.:)

Hi JS
Of course they look nice and worth after finishing.I named my thread as a fidly work, because you can’t notice any progress after long hours work except the increased number of the same objects like in the film Beaver Day with Bill Murray . While planking or rigging you can see adevelopment and a progres, but doing the same procedure many times it gives to me a massproduction feeling and mostlly the first builded ones are sometimes not as good as the last produced objects, because of gained experience. The most terrible thing ehich can happen is when you notice a serious construction mistake after finishing your last object.
A similar fidly feeling i had also while building the cannon ports ( about 55 pieces - the attachment).
The good thing is after completing the so called fidly works one has the maximum degree of joy- and satifaction feeling i think.
Kind Regards
