Pavel Nikitin Oseberg #3 kit #61

A little Re-Do project.

I wasn't happy with the S'board fit of the Shield Plank. I didn't get a good glue result placing it against the hull. The stand-off pieces
that go-between the rail and the hull are very small and tended to break away from the hull when I handled it (Big Fumbly Fingers). I removed the plank and redid the stand-offs with 4X4X4mm pieces. Gluing those to the plank and then to the hull worked out good.

I had no trouble placing the shields.

Tomorrow I'll start a Re-Do on the port side.

Jan

(:( Winter has arrived early, ten inches (4cm) of snow yesterday and the current temperature at 10:20 PM is 12F/-11C with the wind gusting at 20+mph)
I have not seen your pre-re-do version passing by, but this is looking nice, Jan.
A nice weather to stay inside and build on.
Regards, Peter

Way to go Jan. You are owning it. You can have -11C……we had a perfect 30C with no wind (for a change ) yesterday so the surf boards came out;). Cheers Grant
