Hi, All-
I am building the Model Shipways New Bedford Whaleboat- and have been following any information I can in the main build thread here- as well as studying the build book.... I am working on fitting up the stem/stern/keep pieces right now, and that is all going well.
However- I have been trying to study ahead- to planking the hull- and I find information sorely lacking- in the book- the prints- and on the C-1/C-2 sheets of planking.
Nowhere on those sheets are the pieces identified or labelled- and I do not see any documentation identifying what those planking pieces are in their laser cut sheets.
Also, I'm assuming that there are thin strips that go between each of the individual planks? It appears that way on the prints.
I've scoured the plans, trying to decipher them, but I am unable to figure this our... the labelling/order of the planks.
The planks look like they could be in order in the 2 sheets- C-1 & C-2, but I just can't determine what that order is.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. As an interesting sidenote- I am going to have the opportunity to visit the museum at the Lowell Boat Shop- in Amesbury, Mass the end of this month... they are the oldest continuously operating boat shop in the United States and is cited as the birthplace of the legendary fishing dory. Lowell’s is the only remaining survivor of the area’s world-renowned dory manufacturing industry- established in 1793.
