I have attached a document which describes how I plank my ships, but I have recently learned of this planking fan and was wondering how to use it:

What is a fan template ?
Can u tell me how to make one? Ship is 1/50 scale, if that matters... I downloaded 2 tutorials on planking....they both have one and there different... I know what there used for (quick way to divide length by number of planks) What I don't know is how to make one ....
