After looking on the internet for planking jig ideas, I was reminded that I had an old vise for holding circuit boards. I had to dig through some storage and drawers to find it but finally found it and cut up the board fingers, and drilled and tapped them to make them stanchions to hold my San Francisco II upside down so I could begin sanding and then planking. Because the shape of the topside, I had to suspend it up a bit. But is is firmly being held. Here are a few pictures of my procedure.

Well, that certainly made a nice Keel Holder - and very sturdy looking.
