Please help "interpreting" this drawing detail (MSW Constitution)

Amennyire meg tudom találni, ez az oszlop és a szár kúpos része. A szigorú rajzon a kúp 3/16 "-re változik (szemben az alul megjegyzett 1/8" -al)? Csak az árnyékolt részben?
A szár általános elvékonyodása egyértelmű, de fogalmam sincs, mit kezdjek a körbejárt területekkel.
Megnéztem a többi rajzot, és hiányzik valami.

I think the shaded areas are a section through the stem and stern posts to show the taper and rounding of the end.

Thanks guys. So the detail (shaded part) is a plan view(s) of the stem and post makes the most sense.
I was confused because I'm looking at a profile view and the detail is not noted as a plan view. And all it really seems to define is the radius. Locations for tapers are all noted in the dimensions
