need help on this, for my build coming up(POF) how do you handel the oiling of the frames that are so closely spaced i have tried oiling before installing, and that did not work at all, tried doing it after installation, but still not happy with the results, all help appreciated. Don

I sealed my timber frames on my builds with a clear satin rattle can. It gets into all the nooks and crannies.

How about adding some wood glue to the areas to be glued before oil,
when the oil is dry you grind away the glue, then I think the wood will be dry enough to
glue the parts together. I don't know if this is correct, but it can be tried.

I am planning on spraying Saint Philippe with dewaxed Shellac using a spray gun and compressor.Spraying does make it easier to get into the awkward bits.It is thin enough to use in an airbrush for the really hard to get to areas.
