I’ve had a look at another log here and the OcCre you tube video.
If the break/crack is in the area which you bend around a tin is it possible to repeat that process, soaking and securing it to the tin with multiple rubber bands? Once it’s the right shape fit it and glue it all up leaving it all clamped until set solid.
Another way might be to cut the break as clean as possible and then fit the bulwark in two pieces, bridging the gap on the inside with a third, overlapping piece to reinforce the join. The third piece can possibly be made from the spare wood of the fret that the bulwarks were cut out of.
You can arrange the inside reinforcement so that it ends where your stanchions will hide it.
The gap on the outside perhaps could be filled with a slice of plywood or simply with filler.

I believe that any glue you use to "fix" it, will be too rigid and will prevent it from flexing around the hull. I would suggest making a new one or see if you can get a replacement from Occre. You may need to pay postage or other taxes.
Sorry to read of your problem. I noted in my Polaris build log that the bulwarks were very fragile and bending them takes patience and somewhat of a delicate touch.
The problem is the bulwarks were separate components rather than cut out so there is no material in the kit from which to make another. Perhaps the best approach would be to make a new one. Model Expo sells basswood sheets and you can use the damaged bulwark to make a replacement. I've never worked with basswood sheets so I can only say that it might be worth a try. Also as mentioned, you can contact Occre for a replacement part but who knows the cost and ship time. I'm sure neither solution is what you wanted to hear.

Occre will send you a new one if you can wait
It it is not plywood, you can use water and heat to form the next one.
Sorry that's not much help with what you have. Its possible that if you have a local hobby shop, they may have some small basswood sheets.

I also work in the Polaris, and like you, I also had a part break quickly, specifically a baluarte. They sent it to me immediately at no cost, you can trust them because Occre is a company like no other.
Another thing is that I don't know where you live and how long the package will take, of course. But for me it is the best option, to order a spare part from Occre. Greetings and good luck, you'll see that it is worth it!!

OcCre guarantees replacement parts throughout the build, whether or not the breakage is one's own fault. Try them, but don't be surprised if you encounter the same customs' BS that My replacement gun carriages did.
