Greetings, ladies and gentlemen!

I ask for your help and advice:
I want to install this device on my PROXXON DB250 Wood Lathe: Proxxon 24158 4-Jaw-Chuck, Self-Centering. As shown in the video,
at the time 22.01.
I found Proxxon 24158 4-Jaw-Chuck:

But I found in this ad: Thread size 1/2-20 UNC ! While on my PROXXON DB250 Wood Lathe Thread size М16 !

And along with this, the video shows the installation of Proxxon 24158 4-Jaw-Chuck.

So where is the error?

Looks like you need this one:

That's the one for your lathe db250. I got this one too. It's not plastic, it's ABS. Very strong. And it works perfect. You can buy the 3 jaw from proxxon that is metal. But the 4 jaw is ABS. It don't need to be metal, because your lathe is for modelbuilding and the power is low.
I use most of the time the 3 jaw chuck, because it's selfcentered. The 4 jaw is not selfcentered.
There are like YT said other ones 4 jaws, M16, selfcentered, metal.
But be carefull not to buy to big.

Thanks for the tips!

I would like to install the metal 4-Jaw-Chuck, Self-Centering, as in the video. I find quite a few options for 4-Jaw-Chuck with Thread size M14.

I was concerned about the discrepancy between the information on the video and on Amazon specifically about Proxxon 24158 4-Jaw-Chuck, Self-Centering:
Thread Size !

If you go for a 4 jaw chuck selfcentered from metal, I would change the ball bearings in your lathe for high quality bearings. Such a chuck will be heavy, maybe to heavy. That's why the 3 jaw chuck is made from some sort aluminium compound. Not steel.

Thanks for the recommendations!
I would like to clarify: I want to install exactly 4-Jaw-Chuck, Self-Centering, mini size. From Proxxon or from any other manufacturer.

The replacement of the ball bearings for high quality bearings is a advice that makes your lathe better. Less vibration and sound. Much smoother. I wish I did it sooner on mine.

I have the Proxxon. It is quiet, smoothe and accurate. The chuck attachment is a must. However it is quite close to your knuckles when working. I made a Perspex guard to go over it when in use.
