PROXXON MICRO LATHE DB 250 with accessories - UNBOXING

Thanks everyone. It is threaded. I looked it up on the internet. San Ou B10. It's a B10 thread per Amazon. I tried vice grips and still can't loosen it in either direction.

I ordered this about 2" chuck yesterday. I can mount it in the jaws of the chuck I can't get off. The reason I bought this chuck as it will hold a larger diameter piece to carve/sand.

The motor is very strong and that's the difference with the 50 bucks one. I got mine from the second hand market. Actually I got 2 for less the price of 1 new. So I extended the lenght between the centers to 22 inch.

I too have managed to turn brass with care.
 
The problem with my PROXXON MICRO LATHE DB 250 is there is so much slop in the tail piece that its impossable to center with the chuck.
