I like the Proxxon Table Saw it cuts like a full size table saw and is very accurate . I recommend it for Model building it works great for me and Micro mark has a lot of Add ons that work too .Like the Accuriser II makes Planking easily and accurately and adjusts by .5 mil .There is a new version coming out so the old version is on sale around the web .

Thanks seafever - I wish I had one and I will probably be like :character-oldtimer: before it gets in my house !!

Not that I am a spokesman for Micro Mark, but they have a nice tablesaw too with a lot of accessories to go with it.

Yea Micro Mark has some quality tools, I have never used or seen on in person, but have been told they are of quality, like your drill press, I WANT !!!

Yes,
I did some reading on this a while back. It seems like a high quality design.

Hmm - a very impressive collection. I guess you must have each one set up for a different task.

Hi Donnie,
Yes, that is correct.
Interesting history of the Preac Saws.
Two large tables. 6" by 10" aluminum top
One small table 4 " by 6"
All were designed to carry a 2 1/4" Diameter saw blade.
Max cut is 1/4" thickness.
I have modified the larger table saws to carry a 3 3/8" diameter blade and
increase it's max cutting thickness to 3/4"
Plus other retrofit improvements.
Designer and manufacturer of the Preac was a personal friend of mine.
Mr. Charlie Files from North Bellmore, L.I.
Sad to say that Charlie passed away not too long ago.
We both worked for Bulova Watch Co. and knew the same people.
More later,
Sgt Glick
