Hello friends,

this weekend, an old plastic model kit landed on my to-do list – let's see how it turns out.

It's originally a replica of the JOLLY ROGER from the 1960s Peter Pan cartoon movie - a Model Kit we all know I would assume:

So, one of the first Revell models still in production as scalemates.com tells to us:

A few years ago, I added some details and refined the little ship model for fun, than I lost my mijo.

I foubd the box with the text "Pirate Ship" this morning Unboxing my mit boxeseseses...

Now I want to finish the project, and since I was a bit too enthusiastic with the bread knife, I can't really use my left thumb, so I'm squeezing in this little project into this weekend - not to do any harm to my cardboard models by my bloody wound. This top view my give some ideas of the 1/72ish sitze:

So this are a few pictures for you- certainly including the reappeared ship's cat for the Main sails yard:

I'm excited to see how it turns out in the very end of it...

Greetings from the Berlin cardboard shipyard, where plastic shavings are flying again,

Chris

Brings back memories...I built that kit back in the '60s!

So here some progress at RED BULL firstly
IMG-20260420-WA0019.jpeg
Installed the stanchions only to add the handrail and remove it to add a big Cote of Arms in between - I am looking for ceap cats' heads to add them to the cathead ;)

Here my very simply Version of the turk's head in the big block for the main sails yard:

and placed on top a multylayer fundament:

But the evel of a carpet monster hunted down my ship's cat balancing on this main yard...

EDIT:
Put in your glasses old guy and behold this for it is a cat!

The figure head will need some additional parts but it does fit!
