one the cost of shipping to and from and the cost of repair
shipping might outrun the cost of repair
you might find a local model ship club they could help you out

im sure someone in here may have the shipways plans in a dusty drawer under the bench to lend this fellow?

at one time when shipways was near its end in nj, i was buying their plans dirt cheap as they cleared inventory. ive built a few n passed the plans on to other modellers. the newsboy plans were very popular.

maybe with all the unused plans just sitting around we can form a library of plans to recycle them to good use?
