Revell "The Big T" by Monogram 1/8th scale

Yesterday I had wrist surgery and had to be at the VA at 6 a.m. so the wife and I decided to stay in town the day before as it is a two hour ride from home. While in town, we went into an antique shop and while looking around I came across this model still sealed in factory plastic for $50. I asked if he could do better on the price and he knocked of another 10%. I had seen this kit in other shops for $100 or more so, I was very excited to get it for what I did. As soon as the cast comes off and I'm able to use my hand again, I will start this build. It can be built in 1 of 3 ways but, leaning toward the red one with top down.

So, got my cast off and start some work on the model. Things are going ok but, after 20 or so years, I am waaaaay out of practice. I've got a couple mistakes and some touch ups that show but, all in all, it's coming along slowly. Engine for display, it's not actually in yet.
