This is my Revenge 1577 by Amati. I finally decided, for space saving, to complete the build just after the standing rigging. In the future, I may explore the possibility to add the sails. Throughout the build, a number of modifications were incorporated, which make for an artistic model rather than an accurate, historic representation. It's a choice we all make.
The main modifications are: All parts are re-plated with walnut including the balustrade and ramp. This changes the color pattern to full wood/dark, rather than painted white. Wood inlays were used for the side ship decorations, as well as for the internals. A 22 ft. Yawl from Vanguard Model, a few painted figurines at scale, custom ropes and blocks. I'm a slow builder: 2 years, ~3000 hours.
