Over the years of building models, I've broken off rudders after installing them. I learned to drill a small hole in the keelson, insert a nail, cut the head off, and drill a matching hole in the rudder to give it some strength. This time, I can't do that because the rudder is so thin. I was thinking of making pintles. What do you do to add additional strength when attaching a rudder?
