This is a very small sample of good first kits to start with. There are literally hundreds to choose from and it is almost impossible to list them all here. The purpose of this demo is for you to obtain an idea of what is readily available. Some of these kits can be purchased as a combo kit that comes with a fairly nice tool-set and paint set. Some of these are Solid Hull (the entire hull is solid softwood that is roughly made and only needs sanding and shaping).
