I airbrushed in the same way as the whole of the ship. Patina, sand and used the oak stain.neilm... Your ornaments (and everything else) look so good I'm going to work on dry brushing. I had bought some dry brushes (HERE) 2 years ago but never got around to using them. Planning on learning after seeing yours.
I'm currently working on the bartolome ships boat. Did you airbrush, paint, or dry brush the boat?
Hi. I mean sandpaper. Pavel’s dye kit supplies everything you need. And of course watch the video on you tube. What is 'sand'? Are those all in Pavel's dye kit?
Very simple method and they look great. I spent hours using gold leaf. I may have to rethink my method.Hi Jagpilot.
Didn’t touch the original black resin mouldings.
Dry brushed first with the old gold and then a little steel on the very peaks of the mouldings.
Hope this is of interest.
