Hi, does anyone know/have accurate plans for the santisima, do they exist as original admiralty drawings somewhere and how can I find them, looking for side profiles and deckplans and maybe if possible a stern plan, most importantly the side profile.

Her in any configuration is fine also is there anything on her as built do we know what she looked like?.

Any images would go a long way to help me out with this thanks:)

Hi
You might take a look here: https://modelshipworld.com/topic/33764-book-santísima-trinidad/#comment-960140 I am translating the book but it will take a while. I have contacted the museum in Madrid. They used to sell the plans but no longer do so. Their response follows.
Dear Mr. Barhnat,

It is true that in the past plans of the ship Santísima Trinidad were sold in the store of the Naval Museum, but nowadays they are no longer sold.

However, I suggest that you contact the Navy Historical Archives in case they have such documentation. The address is as follows:

Calle Sanchidrián nº 9, Madrid

Teléfono: 91 305 95 19

Correo electrónico: aha_jse@mde.es

Out of the many excellent modern Spanish works, it is enough to just aim for one monograph by Joaquín Rodríguez Crespo – Navío Santísima Trinidad 1769–1805. Reconstruccíon gráfica y documental, Ediciones del Hobby, Madrid 2007, 978-84-612-1517-1 (including CD-ROM). That's the book on the right of the first photo.

As an aside, I have no idea why Spanish users don't point to such things.

I think that Joaquín Rodríguez's monograph is the best study about this ship. I would like to have it but it is no longer available. I would say that Liberto's work, which can be seen in this forum, is based on plans that appear in that book.

Cheers;)

A preliminary 1759 plan by Mateo Mullan, which shows a slightly shorter ship, in very high-res.
