Hello Phil, not exactly. In Wikipedia you can read that there are several definitions in the USA alone. In order to be correct and comprehensible, it would have to be stated each time which "ft" is meant. Nautic etc. And we still have friends from GB and CA with national peculiarities. Of course that's ok Ultimately, however, it is complicated. To be honest, I don't feel like doing it.
