Oh, yeah...meanwhile I decided to build this mini "Flying Cloud" from Scientific Models I found on Ebay for a few bucks. ca. "midcentury modern"
13/4" overall, 5" hull in balsa, printed parts on balsa sheet.

Thanks! I got a bunch of nice old miniatures from E-bay. Cheap enough. Like buried treasure! Great for bashing and detailing!

I most emphatically agree! I don't believe that I have ever built a Scientific Ship Model that I was dissatisfied with!

Now that I'm up to my eyeballs in the big scale, I'll have to get motivated to go back to this miniature, which should be pretty cool given all the research and information I've been schooled in lately on the Mamoli kit bash. Hell, with kits at any scale it's all about the bashing!
