Scratch build

Not sure if this is the right place to post this.. Anyways, I stopped at my neighbors to take out her garbage and see if she needed anything from the store. She had me get some newspapers from the basement to put in the recycling bin. I saw this wooden ship. She said her uncle made it from scratch with no drawings, maybe a picture as there was no internet. It just looked really nice. What do you think..

If you are a ship modelling enthusiast, then I would do the rigging again.

Then again if you like it that way, keep it original.

If this was made from just one picture then that is a very good model.

that's the model as her uncle built it, before he has passed away several years ago. That model is in her living room.
