I do love aero engines... is this a kit?
The plywood 'stand' does less than nothing for presentation.

I have a bunch of 1:15 Merlin's in my stash.
 
Model Shipways kit. The stand is pretty plain; not as nice as the ones that are provided with the other aero engine kits but for now it will do. Perhaps in the future I'll come up with a better stand.
