Does anyone know what the status is regarding the TFFM swan class books being printed?
I’ve sent three inquiries this year, each one being answered that they would be available near the end of this year.

Thanks

I can't imagine anybody would know better than Mike Ellison at Seawatch Books. He's very approachable and accommodating. It may be that the answer you received was the best answer available... "near the end of the year" ... and by now perhaps the best answer might be "maybe next spring." I have no knowledge about it beyond the same scuttlebutt you've heard. It may simply be that the publishing business these days is a bit unstable with fluctuating tariffs and all. I have no idea where Seawatch gets its printing done, but I do know a lot of high quality printing these days is, or was, being "off-shored" to China. With international trade in a bit of a dither, things like high quality papers and inks and everything else connected with manufacturing books, like so much else in the supply chains, is all up in the air at the moment and there just aren't any reliable production dates known.

I have a set of the original books (all four volumes) that are in excellent condition. If anyone would like to “jump the queue” and potentially save on tax, they can buy them from me for $250 plus shipping.

This is a great offer. If I did not already own a set I would jump on it You should have no trouble selling these. They are great for building models in general, not just a Swan Class vessel.
