Best Ship Models web site shows plans to download that I would be interested in ,however the site shows an insecure padlock symbol. I hesitate giving out info to this site. Can anyone comment on Best Ship Models. Are they safe?
 
I had never contact or did business with them. Nevertheless looks a little bit strange for me to sell for 2 US$ the drawings for download.....no contact address given, but a telephone number from Israel....
And due to the fact, that there are only the well known ships offered, I am pretty sure, they are maximum some copied pdf from existing drawings and not self produced.......I guess they have no rights to copy them, so very problematic in this regards.
 
Hello Gil, I once bought plans for 2 € with them from the H.MS Victory when I was working on this ship, the plans that I got helped me with the rigging, (in the box of the Victory kit that I had bought 2éhands these plans were missing) I did not order anything anymore because I did not need anything either, or they can not be trusted, I can not answer on this, I ordered online and got what I needed. Although I also think that for this price it is not all official
