Seeking advice on designing my own custom

Hi everyone! I'm a first-time builder, though I've done modeling kits before (mostly small houses). I'm interested in scratch building a replica of The Revenge from Our Flag Means Death and am looking for any advice anyone has on how to get started. I'm not too concerned on the actual building, I've watched a lot of tutorials/builds. My concerns lie more in designing the actual plans. A few images from the show attached for reference! All advice is welcome!

I suggest going on the OcCre website and find a ship that roughly matches what you have in mind. The plans (including bulkhead sections) can be downloaded as a pdf. Those could give you a guide to building the hull. The deck fittings, rig, and superstructure could be devised from images you have posted.

i would suggest looking at these 2 build logs Mellpapa designed both these ship from scratch he may have some advice for you

The Black Pearl was also displayed on the back of the Flying Dutchman. Both of them are Tamiya History Museum, but for some reason, they had an extraordinary presence. Now, when I think about it, I think I made such a big work well... It's a strange feeling. It's a great honor to have my work...

Silent Mary by Mellpapa

The movie Silent Mary doesn't have this and I don't see any running riggins. I think they omitted it because it is one of the props in the movie - I don't know.Cautious I did make it because I need a bow stiffener rail.:D I need to make a belay pin: ......:eek:
