Got up this morning to 14° F. This is great weather to spend time in the shop, working on my OcCre Nuestra Senora del Pilar....I'll be all toasty and such.... Happy New Years fellow shipbuilders!

I remember Kansas....I was stationed at Ft Riley 1971-1972.....the winters were cold and windy!

Down here in Florida it’s not quite that cold. In the 70s all day and night. But it’s still nice to stay indoors with the air conditioner on and build ship models. But I can go outside if I have to do some spray painting.

Humid here, 28 degrees celsius, has been raining heavily over past few days. Just 70 km north of here received 650 mm (25 inches) of rain in 12 hours.

Very dry here, in the dead of winter. It's finally warmed up to -8 C after a week of -15 C to -28 C. For those of you who don't live in Amerikanskaya Sibir' (Minnesota), that's COLD. This results in lots done on the ship model...
