Up for sale is a 1/64 scratch-built HMS Charles Galley ship model. The model was commissioned to be built using a period hull profile plan of the Charles Galley from the National Maritime Museum and was completed in 2021. The model is made of various materials including wood, 3D printed cannons and clay carvings. In terms of size it's approximately 3.5 feet in length and also includes the 17 foot Pinnace. If interested, please send me a message with any questions including price. Pickup from NJ would be required. Please see photos below...

Your work is magnificent. What part of New Jersey USA are you from? I am in Monmouth county, NJ.

This model was built in 2021-2022 from a ship modeler based in Florida. I asked him to build it and had it ship to me in NJ. I'm looking to downsize and sell this since it takes up a good amount of real estate. Open to any offers if interested.
Thanks

“Downsize” ? - such a dreadful word. It has made an appearance in our house, and I’m getting uneasy…

Such a good model though. Waiting for the riggers. I seem to recall that a Frigate could be rigged within a fortnight should the need arise. HMS Trincomalee was built for stock, and survives because she was never rigged and sailed, just ‘mothballed’ under a roof that protected her deck and topside.

But my memory is flaky nowadays, may not be entirely accurate

UPDATE: All offers will be considered at this time since I need to move it. Local pickup will be required.
Thank you for your attention.

I believe that the model was made by Allan Yedlinsky. Allan is a member who regularly posts here on SOS. He is an expert on British sailing warships and has written two books on the subject.

LAST CALL: If you can pick it up from NJ, I would be willing to accept any offer of $750 or less for both the Charles Galley ship model and its display case I have posted in the form for sale.
