Go to www.thenrg.org and join to receive their excellent quarterly publication titled "The Journal". And your membership will also give you access to back issues of "Ships In Scale".

Hi Workboats, thank you for your suggestion, I actually did that this week and joined the NRG and should receive my first issue soon. I was also contacted by a forum member and will purchase a big collection of back issues as well. This forum is populated by very generous members who are eager and willing to help a newbie in the pursuit of this hobby. I am very happy I joined! Thank you all.

Greetings, I am new to ship modeling and I am wondering if there are any dedicated ship modeling magazines available in English or French? I know of Model Boats magazine but wondering if there are others, that are specific to wooden sailing ships. Or back issues available? Thanks.

I'm getting close to having a complete collection of "Model Shipwright".

For its time it was a marvelous publication; the internet was years away, but many of its features are still relevant.

But it also makes you aware of how technology facilitates the bewildering access most of us now have ship model, to information of all kinds in high definition colour.

Even 'Star Trek' is old hat now.

Can anybody recommend to me the best Magazine For R/C Scale model ships/ &or Boat? I have Fond a few But all seem to be of Gas speed boat, not the scale work boats we do. Any help will be appreciated Thanks
