i would like to make a shout out to this model club founded in 2004. What is interesting is their in person meetings but their ZOOM meetings with participants from across the US to around the world.

They publish a newsletter ROPEWALK and have a nice library on their web site.

support those who are active in the ship modeling community and support this hobby.

HI DAVE JUST FOUND YOUR POST TODAY VERY, VERY INTERESTING CAN NOT FIND HOW TO JOIN ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO DONATE BUT CAN NOT FIND HOW HIT ME BACK. GOD BLESS STAY SAFE YOU AND YOURS DON

besides their own published newsletter the Ropewalk there is quite a nice library to explore or join the club and join in on a zoom meeting.

i am thinking for a membership fee of 20 bucks a year to support publishing the Ropewalk, library and zoom meetings is a good deal.

when you go to the Shipwrights of Ohio site click library

that takes you to a list of books

now i clicked on Ship Modeling from Stem to Stern by Milt Roth that takes you here now if you have an account you can borrow the book the blue BORROW turns red and it stays open for 14 days

now you hit the + to enlarge the book now you can flip through the pages. Sometimes if i find something i want to save i will take a screen shot or just return and reread. The book will stay open for 14 days so you can keep coming back or like a library renew the book.

if you do not have an account when you click on borrow it will take you to the page to either log in or create an account. it is free so explore this great hobby.
