Anyone know where I can get Silkspan in Canada. Six sheets would cost $50 Can if I order from Sig

Bluejacket has them $6 USD a sheet. Sig has three thickness options though.

I inquired at a local hobby shop here in Calgary. They can get a package of 6 sheets for CAD $51. Yikes!

I haven’t tried this but I’ve read that some people use the tissue paper that doctor’s offices place on exam beds in lieu of expensive Silkspan. It comes in rolls and is fairly inexpensive.

Hi Olivierf, I have a roll of this paper and it's way to thick. That is, if the Product available here is the same as in the Amazon website. On a positive angle it's wonderful for drying out dyed sails
