Using a shrink tube (it shrinks if heat is applied - flame or hot air ) reduces the amount of the glue and it enables precise point application to the object.Another advantage is , it is always ready for use.If it is dried on the edge you can apply heat to the tube to get rid of the dried glue.

Hi kurt
Necessity is the mother of invention
Because i have forgotten to bring my CA pp-extenders 300 km away from where i am now since about 3 months for summer vacation, thought this is the solution and it is functional. The plus point is the shrink tube is less unflammable than the pp- extender which i bought via aliexpress (about 100 pieces- attachment)so you can burn or melt the dried CA without damaging the edge.
Kind Regards from Gallipoli- Saros Bay

Good idea. I've been using the tiny nozzles for years, especially for super-thin CA.

Another method I was introduced to years ago that works well especially on gluing tight seams is to use one of the small curved exacto blades (see photo). Make a little puddle of glue then pick up a drop of it with the edge of the blade, then precisely rock it into the seam. Capillary action will draw it in - no mess, no residue where you don't want it.

Great use of Post-It pads. Mix glues and no messView attachment 478600 View attachment 478598 pads
I will also recommend to use ordinary baking- paper. If i cannot find any BP in our kitchen so i use the reverse side of the proxxon sanding papet.

I have tried/ bought every method of CA applicator know to man over several decades, thinking each one would be the perfect one. I finally settled on this as the most pinpoint reliable applicator, reusable and cheap. I take a single edge safety razor (the kind you buy at a box hardware store in packs of 100). I put some CA on an old CD disk. I dip the right angle sharp edge into it (depth and length of blade determines amount loaded as needed.) What is great for me is that I can then direct (beginning at the right angle tip) precisely into the join crack where it is needed. CA flows easily into the crack from the length of the CA on the blade's edge e (great capillary effect), amount determined by how much you loaded the sharp edge length with (which can be much greater than other precise applicators. For some bizarre reason my grip on the safety side of the razor and my magnifier allows me the control to place that right angle tip with incredible precision. Plus the blade loads much better then, say, an 11 blade (razor blade edge holds more or as little) or any photoetched loop device etc. When CA accumulates, burn off with a BIC lighter. I have also used sewing needle eyelets grinding off the end loop of the eyelet, and I can very the amount dispensed by using smaller or larger needle loop ends. I like that as well, but getting the tip of the safety razor into the crack is much more precise and less likely to leave CA residue around the crack. And it can hold much more CA for longer joins without getting CA all over the place unlike some other applicators (loading a sewing needle with more often ends with a large drop on the very end of the applicator which can get outside the joint as you make contact.)

This place looks like it might make me think less about glue.
