I started this Caldercraft kit about thirty years ago, but between Family, emigrating and other excuses, and being my first real "build" (other than Airfix or Tamiya), it took a while to finish. Radio controlled and very sea-worthy, with one of the exquisite PropShop propellers pushing her along, she's been a lot of fun. Finished as the Sir Geraint because I don't like the acoustic hammer boom on the bow (very breakable, if nothing else). If I was to rebuild her now, I'd do my best to get the anchor winch functional (only "manual" just now), but suspect the damage involved might outweigh any success.
