Having a hard time interpreting my bowsprit rigging. The kit reference diagram shows the line crossing under other rigging, and the photo reference shows the line tied somehow or fastened to something. Appreciate if someone could suggest an accurate way to resolve?

In my opinion this rope, with the curves fixed on the marked points to the bowsprit are some kind of ratline / foot-rope, that the seamen could walk to the end

Hi Yas

Like Uwek said, the coil of ropes are holding the two parts of the bowsprit together, then the rope that goes through the coils holding the two parts of the bowsprit together are the foot ropes.

Denis.
